Linkin Park was formed in United Kingdom in 1995. The original members were Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Joe Hahh and David Farrell.
In 1996, David Farrell was replaced by Mark Wakefield. All of the group’s members write songs, but most of the lyrics are written by Mike Shinoda.
Linkin Park’s first album was Hybrid Theory by Warner Bros. Records in 2000. It has sold more than five million copies. Since then, their albums have all been hits.
Linkin Park play Nu Metal. Some of their best-known songs are Papercut, Points of Authority, A Place for My Head, My December and High Voltage. The band has won a lot of prizes for their music, videos and concerts.
